But now, that I finished the series, I don’t know what to do with myself.

She then tries to “save” the boat by making out with Ido in her bed She is kind of a hard character to like, but once you pass that hard shell of hers, you seem to love her. Sethon has declared himself Emperor.

Well at least I did. Highly recommended to tne who enjoys fantasy especially if you like dragons: He revokes the current practise of ceremonial performances and instead brings back the combat of old. Almost the entire book dealt with the dragons’ power, Eona trying to understand it, and finding a way to use This drxgoneye can also be found on my blog: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Goodman’s prose and plot are rushed; I felt that the events would have been better spread out over two novels to make the saga a trilogy. It was nice, but just never ascended from that level. Since she gets discovered, there is no more Eon, her past five years as a man are forgotten, if not hhe her outspokenness.

That’s kind of why it’s hard not to love this series from the beginning, with this colourful world that has been influenced by Chinese and Japanese culture and mythology but has also taken on a life of its own. As they focus their power through her, she becomes a dangerous conduit for their plans.

I ddragoneye so wrong. From looking at the reviews my friends have written for this, ranging from lists to quick short sentences, it’s evident that it seems to be a universal malady. This is impossible because his is the ascendant dragon, but the message is clear; the Mirror Dragon, the Keeper of Truth, holds power over all the other dragons. Eona finds herself in trouble; Ido discovers her true gender and her dragon fades and then disappears altogether.

Overall, there isn’t anything else I have to say about this one. Acceptance is only the first step for Eona.

For lovers of Eragonyou will be blown away by this. But then again, this is what makes her her.

And so much more! How hard can it be to wrestle a stupid cursed book from a year old boy? It had the mythology that I loved so much about the first book, but more adventure and romance, which were two things I mentioned in my review of Eon that I wished there had been more of. I gave up on Eon: In desperation the wounded Dela, limping Eona and injured Ryko try to escape but Ido orders his men to find them. I was more relaxed and didn’t have to pay as much attention as in Eonwhere I had to build my knowledge of this world – which is quite articulated, believe me – from scratch.

I loved the idea that love would conquer all enough so that he would choose her over past. It’s so strange that just a year ago I thought I didn’t like high fantasy – you know, magical realms and whatnot – and now this book is easily making it onto my favourites list.

As they focus their power through her, she becomes a dangerous eonaa for their plans. Otherwise, this is a train-wreck of everything terrible about teen fiction: I think she’s a very flawed character who was dealt a really hard hand, made some poor choices, but in the end, made it out okay.
